AKAKAMBOLISM

Redefinition of Creativity

The visual language of Christopher Ebiokubo Ayaoge — where paints, pigmentation, pen and ink meet like shards of broken glass, and the two-dimensional surface folds into portals beyond the canvas.

Signature

“Shattered mirror-like splinters that dazzle the eye and transcend into three-dimensional portals.”

The Language

A visual language founded in shards of broken glass.

AKAKAMBOLISM is Crystalization Cerebral Conceptualization — a process where paints, pigmentation, pen and ink meet like shards of broken glass. Shattered mirror-like splinters dazzle the eye and transcend from the two-dimensional surface into three-dimensional portals.

Whether executed in oil, pastel, charcoal, watercolour, coffee, beads or ink, the language is constructed from fractured crystalline lines, geometric folds and African motifs. Circles, triangles, graffiti, hieroglyphic encryptions, cowries, symbols and scrolls collide within trademark border designs — and at every edge, the surface folds, opening portals beyond the canvas.

“My work explores the human form as Architects of Release — rooted in the power of mind over obstacles.”
